The MM-1s worked flawlessly on the old iMac, but the left speaker had tones running in scales up and down when plugged into the new iMac. After much googling, I found a fix. I don't know why it works, but it does. Launch the 'Audio MIDI Setup' app. Select the MM-1 speakers on the left. Turn up the volume so you can hear the tones. Zeppelin Air retains that shape, but now features smaller mid-range drive units to help the sound dispersion even further. This produces a more open, natural sound. Combined with the same tweeters as the award-winning B&W MM-1 computer speakers, Zeppelin Air delivers an incredibly detailed, wide, room filling performance. 1) Absolutely amazing acoustic performance. Just stellar, a quality you'd expect from a B&W speaker. The Bad: 1) Really awkward remote control design. The Ugly: 1) Inexcusably poor wifi connectivity. I had to reset the device three times upon initial set-up just to have it detectable by its own app!
